15w40 or HM 10w40?

I do really like the Valvoline line of products and will check out the Premium Blue. I will also check the Rotella T 5w40 again as well and then try and decide between them all.

Then there is he synthetic Premium Blue Extreme, which I think is a 5w40.

Well, I went to Wal-Mart today and they do not carry Valvoline Premium Blue so I will go with Chevron Delo. It is a good oil as well and available there in gallon jug as well as quarts.

Oh Great,John.
Now I'm gonna have another oil stress related worry wort!!
I put 15/w40 Tection in my Tundra after scoring it on the cheap.I have used it in a '99 v6 Camry.
Seems that car doesn't "like" any oil.
So I gotta put it in something.

I think you'll be fine. My saab's engine is killer on oil. I'm sure it's an okay oil. I scored 8 gallons on sale in late 05. That was what started my now-sizeable oil collection.

Hi Merkava,

Well, after you got me interested in MaxLife I gave up on thinner oils for my Volvos as everyone kept telling me to use thicker oil per the manual so I switched to some form of 40 weight.
