Welp here’s my 2nd and final run of Amsoil synblend 0w20 using an acdelco pf63 filter.
5,196 miles on this sample.
Thanks @Pablo
Went in/ back on Mobil 1 5w30 with another pf63.

Even with the 2% fuel how is this Amsoil TBN toast? Definitely appears to be a <5k oil in OP application.
I was just a test dummy. I trust Amsoil to make good products. My truck and driving style just doesn’t fit with this oil, and that’s okay. It’ll be great for some applications I’m sure.

Not a long drain oil. Not sure what you are saying?
Perhaps this is at the very low end of a "Synthetic Blend"? I don't know anything about this product so take it for what it's worth but I think the 2014 5.3L was spec'd for a 7,500 ODI or oil life monitor so It does surprise me at only 5.2k & 1.55 TBN. @That John dude perhaps could elaborate on their decision to end its use.

2% of fuel is not low fuel dilution that’s for sure. TBN Seems to be following miles. Not sure how other oils would would do but even 1 TBN has life
I plan on testing this Mobil 1 5w30, so we can see how it handles the fuel dilution. I’ll run this one 5k, dump it, and then test the second 5k run. I’ll be ordering more kits from you to make this happen. This OCI also seen some heavy towing in 100 degree temps. I use this truck as a truck, but also idling when dropping off kids at school.
