12pk Liqui Moly Motor Saver on Amazon

Settle down fellas. 2003 Toyota Solara with the 2AZ-FE engine. Got the car as a family hand me down ( here, you can have my junk, basically). Car needed an exhaust from the manifold back ( so much for stainless steel..ok,,a little better). I saw the valves in cylinder #1 & # 3 when I took off the manifold. 124k on the ODO. They were covered in " coked" oil, from the stem down. The rest were fine. Yeh, stem seals, I get it. Not doing it. Dumping enough $$$ into this thing as it is. 20+ years old. But, engine and tranny are bulletproof, that's why I took it, and the mediocre restoration project. So, after 5 months being in the ICU, I get to dump new oil in it and fire her up. Added Liqui Moly Motor Saver to the mix. Did nothing for 500 miles. Puff of blue smoke when starting up. Then one day, maybe 525 miles, no more smoke. Yeah, it swelled the dried up stem seals enough to stop the smoke puffin. Add it every oil change. Consistency of 5w-30, and the engine calls for 5w-30. That's just MY story for ONE engine. Snake oil or not, worked for me.

my car normally burned over a quart/1k miles. i checked my dipstick yesterday and it’s still overfull…. i would say it did something.

Congrats bro. Well done, you cracked the life hack code. What are you going to tell Lucas’s thousands of satisfied customers and positive testimonials? Or every other snake oil peddler? If this was legit, why isn’t it in every oil LM sells?
Why would you put additives that rejuvenate seals and stop oil leaks in an engine that doesn't need them?🤔 The product serves it's purpose quite well. Congrats, you played yourself.;)

Again, why buy “inexpensive” oils that can create other problems down the road from where that oil cut corners, and then dump in a product that’s effectively adding ~30% to the cost of oil changes after you have to start using it?

The technology is out there for ALL oil companies to make products that won’t cause seals to harden and deteriorate, but rather than chiding them, you want to applaud the bandaid and blame the messenger. 🤷‍♀️

i feel this product is for when the engine is past top tier oils keeping seals pliable. im using it in a 400k+ miles accord to keep it from burning oil via valve seals.

OK, I will look into Amazon, thanks:)........I agree with SubieRuby:). The technology was and always has been out there to make better components. ( Except in the 40's-50's ). It's like the I-phone. The OWNER can't access the battery, but the battery was designed to fail after " X " amount of time, forcing you to upgrade to a newer model. Planned absolesence !!! Same thing with an engine. Yeh, it will crap out faster if you don't properly maintain it, but it will crap out eventually. If " Big Auto" made vehicles to last forever, they'd be out of business. All " we" can do is try to make them last past " their mechanical limits". There's a box you can check on a New York Vehicle Title where the section says " vehicle mileage" ( like when you trade it in or sell it privately). Just a one line sentence " Check this box if vehicle is beyond mechanical limits " In New York's DMV, that means if the ODO rolled back to " 0" and started over. So, just keep maintaining if you plan on keeping it. I have 614,655 on my 2013 Honda CRV AWD. Change oil & filter every 4k. Original owner. Don't burn a drop of oil, has a SLIGHT oil leak somewhere below the head. A " Honda-Bond" leak from a friggin robot that put it together in Japan. Leaving it alone. Can't stop that leak.

Thought I needed the 12 pack, then checked my " warehouse" ( garage shelf..:) )....Have about 8 cans in stock. More than enough. That's one of the good things about being retired, the car gets retired too. Mostly supermarket runs and doctor appointments now. OH JOY :)
