Another oil worth considering is a motorcycle oil. I found one that is API SJ.

Would the wet clutch additives be something to avoid though?

I wouldn’t sweat the wet clutch friendliness of JASO MA(and Allison C4) rated oils. Honda for years called for 10W-30 API SH/SG/SJ/SL oils for their motorcycles and car gearboxes until friction modifiers were introduced with the API SM/ILSAC GF-5 specs.

And I guess to be fair then, API SJ oil is just that. If it wasn’t, it wouldn’t be called that.

I have a Kubota BX2380 with the 60 inch deck. I run Amsoil Severe Gear 75W-90 with no issues.

I run the same product in the front diff as well.
