We also did a Dexsil TBN test, which showed a TBN of 4.0. And -- shhhhh, it's a secret -- we're still waiting on test results from an alternative laboratory. Looks like we can keep on going for a while.

Looks to me like Amsoil will outlast Mobil 1 over the life of the test. The Amsoil numbers will get even better (TBN and viscosity) when the filter is changed and makeup oil is added.
