OK, so I was looking up the prices of Honda Brand motor oil and came across Bernardi.com. which sells Honda parts. Their syn blend is only $3.90/qt, but they claim they have a blend 0w20. I thought ow20 only came in full synthetic, am I wrong? Thanks!

Yea....I'm confused too....I was always told to even MAKE the "zero weight" you had to be "full synthetic".....methinks they are lost in the latest "syn blend" fan-boy-ism craze (everyone wants a blend, and will use nothing unless it IS a blend it seems)...lol.

I've seen a VOA of both CoP made oils and they are virtually identical. Perhaps the full syn oil holds an extreme cold advantage but since Honda doesn't offer MRV and CCS spec's that would be pure conjecture.
As it stands if the syn' blend is cheaper I'd buy that.

BTW the CoP made oils are a distinct downgrade from the previous Idemistsu made Honda 0W-20 as they no longer contain the high moly or 200 VI.
