A slightly low viscosity was only unusual finding.Flash point was fine so it wasn't caused by fuel dilution If this oil was rated a 5/20 the viscosity would be ok.wear was generally lower here after a shorter run.If any problems exist they don't show up.sample date 5/28/09.4000 on oil.no oil added. Thanks for reposting. How many miles on vehicle now? The oil sheared by design, as in how it earned the energy conserving seal of approval. It looks like the engine is wearing well though.

Are those numbers right?? doesn't match up to this VOA. Lots of zinc for SM?

Yeah, add numbers seem off - Zinc/Phos not even close to where they should be... Also, you Si is high for the miles. With an '08 it could be residual break in, but I'd still check the air filter/ducting. As for the visc., Edge starts very thin at 9.8 cst; so it hasn't moved much....

Blackstone comments on top of page .Afe dry air filter.About 4000 on air filter.About 15000 on veh.doesnt use a drop of oil.Mostly trips over 50 miles.No stop an go

Was the oil changed? Pricey oil for the oil change interval if not changed.
