Newly registered, but have been visiting, reading the forum for awhile, and thanks to this forum and advice given here I have switched all vehicles that I maintain for myself and family members over to PUR-ONE filters and Mobil -one oil.
Onto question, some of you may know that the location of the oil filter on the Jeep Liberty V-6 engine is in a terrible location for changing with out spilling oil all over steering and front end running gear. Have located a remote oil filter system that will work. So question, has anyone mounted one for this application before and where did you mount it? How did you mount it? Did you use the the rubber hose that comes with the system or did you use braided stainless?
Hope this is the right place in forum to ask, any help, suggestions appreciated.
