salicylate detergent, Low SAPS ( Ted loves to talk about SAPS), formulating additive response from one large oil add conglomerate based in Europe.

FWIW, the two jugs of GTX 5w20 I have show a difference under the U.S. Patent Label. Although the patent numbers are the same, there's "LBL 00005-01 A" on one and "LBL 00005-01 B" on the other, but I guess that could just stand for "Label numbers".

Thats the guy, he had a problem with his new ( at the time) GM 5 or 6 inline engine and I diagnosed the issue for him online here. Never heard from him until recently. I think he suffered a stroke ?

Thanks 427

Its what took Bob Winters Professional legs out from under him. Its good to see him post periodically. We never agreed 100% of the time but we were always sincerely friends. You should see some of the early Noria posts...

Get well Mannix, I want to "axe" you some questions and be "pacific"....

So Terry, is GTX being made concurrently with, and without, the sodium (salicylate detergent?) formulation?
