Hello, everyone. I'm a long time lurker, first time poster. My truck is a 2006 H3. This truck has had PP almost every oil change. This truck did have the cylinder head replaced at 20k.
The air filter is stock type paper. I believe the oil filter is a Performax. I don't really like the Iron reading in my report and plan on draining my fill of synpower early.

Miles on oil 7,665

Miles on truck 43,404

Time on oil 6 months

Which numbers are the oil run - first or second?

Despite high fuel (low flash) oil held visc. well. Iron may be a bit a break-in from the new cylinder head - GM's take a long time to break in.

Overall, I'd say a pretty good run. TBN is spent, but this syn was never meant to be a long-drain oil.

So I'm not totally confused; the first column is Formula Shell and the second column is PP, and you now have Valvoline SynPower in it?

Sorry guys. I should have marked it better. the number's on the left are the formula shell numbers. The number's on the right are the averages from the report. This is my first time to get an analysis done on this vehicle. On this new run I have synpower in it and a mobile 1 filter. I was thinking about doing 5k and and doing another analysis and see what's up. Also, I'm not sure if the averages are right. The lab report said that it was a 3.5 v-6. The truck actually has the 3.5 I-5.

Ask the lab for the correct averages, mistakes happen.

I'd run the Synpower at least 7-8k miles, like this run. Synpower is a bit 'tougher' of an oil than FS syn, so it will last at least as long. Complete waste to drain or even sample at 5k.

That is a pretty good report for 7.6K miles on a GM engine. Hauling a hummer chassis. But the UOA does show a bit of fuel dilution.
