05 Burb - Oil Recommendation's please

Just purchased a 2005 Suburban 1500 2WD. 82,000 miles. I live in the Desert...Phoenix, AZ. I drive apx 8000 miles/year. Mostly stop/go city driving, and 7 to 8 400 mile trips/year. I prefer to have someone change the oil versus doing it myself.

What is the best oil, oil filter and oil change schedule I should follow? Not concerned with the cost, but the quality. My burb is in mint condition, and no leaks no nothing.

Any name brand 5W-30 synthetic is fine. Most filters like the OEM or Purolator are good.
Follow the GM oil change monitor that I think your car has to determine the oil change interval.

Thank you for the info! Knowing the Burb is 7 years old, wasn't sure if following the monitor was a good idea. I have never used a synthetic before but want the best for my ride!
