I wouldn't worry about this one much. When I noted that, "There are instances, such as in the measurement of timing chain 'stretch', where there is a marked difference between dino and syn oils... but then again, even something like a timing chain can be repaired as PM if watched correctly." it does not, in and of itself infer that I meant that it had anything to do with a Honda engine, but rather with regards to oil (said information being extended from some long-term analysis of MB diesel engines).
I get what you're saying, but being a learning site, and being that a group I member with 22 posts started the thread... I wouldnt discount a thought that timing chain = timing belt.
Now, those math errors are HORRBLE!
