02 Ranger - Tailgate Cables 04 - UP work?

So Ford Shows:

5L5Z-9943052-AA 2004 - 2011
F37Z-9943053-A 1992 - 2004

Some of the after market ones show 1992 - 2011.

Any one know what the difference is...? Can i just use the later ones?

These are what we have to go off of. I don't know what the difference is really. The part numbers for the tailgate and bedsides are the same assuming a styleside (non step side).

Thank you, they look basically the same, i ordered them and will report.

So i got these.

Aside fro the upper end being slightly beefier and the right cable having a bit of a different angle on the bottom bracket (which i'm not sure was intentional) they look exactly the same.

Work fine.
