Yes, I am embracing retirement mode with bird feeding and now gold fish. The wife is calling them my wives. They are funny. They know when I turn off the pumps that it is dinner time. They come out of hiding and wait for me to feed them.

Well I wasn't going to do it but I bought 10 goldfish for my pond. I figured if they don't make it I am not out much and they shouldn't make too much of a mess. They do love the waterfall! Here is a video I took today of them.

So here is the progress I have made. Still some landscaping to do (grass). I am proud to say I did this all myself. I think it turned out pretty decent for a first try. Never been so tired and sweaty in my whole life. My back can now take a rest....lol

I finally retired from law enforcement after almost 38 years at the same department. Got lots of free time now so one of my projects is to build a waterfall/pond where my above ground pool used to be. I will then plant some things around the pond and fill in the rest with dirt and grass seed...
