Batteries, Batteries, Batteries?? What is the BEST choice?

That is good to know, because I have a group 24 battery and for the 1st time I put a Battery Tender Jr on it. It was topped off and solid green light in a little over 3 hours! I have a Deka Ultimate battery and would definitely buy one again, made by East Penn.

Thanks M1Accord, Matt and Danno. I purchased the Battery Tender Jr,...and used it yesterday. It only took about 3 hours to top off my battery. A friend suggested this one to me since it is the easiest one to use. Thanks for your help and suggestions! Yes Project Farm, he is awesome with his...

When is an automatic car wash the cleanest?

Touchless car washes are great. But just be aware that the detergent mix they use is very harsh since there are no brushes etc removing the grime, so the soap mix is very strong. I mention this because if you have any protection on your car over time it can strip it. But there are times when you...

    Best battery for cold weather

Well,...let me 1st say... I don't need to defend or explain my question but, since you had an opinion.....I did not want another Honda battery with only 650 CCA, I wanted one that was better, so that is why I did not consult my parts guy or the dealership, I did not want their opinion. Second, I...

    Best battery for cold weather

To me as a women, this conversation, information, and the knowledge I acquired was priceless! So despite it being a long thread and perhaps useless to someone who has more knowledge than I do, it is tedious to read. However, for another gal or someone with less knowledge and yes that includes...

Agree, cold here in Michigan. I check my tires every morning, because I am OCD. I keep them 1 psi above recommended...I like a cushion.

    Tire rubber and rim cleaners

Hi Guys and Gals, I am currently using P&S Brake Buster total cleaner for the rims and tires, it states it is non-acid. I am just wondering though with some of the other cleaners like Sonax, that I have used before and Adams Tire Cleaner and separate Rim cleaner, if they harm the natural oils in...

    oil change at the dealership

Totally agree Bill! The local guy would not let me see the invoice from the company he received the parts from, that in itself made nervous and not like his business tactics. I get it, there is going to be a markup for them to make money, but why be so sheepish about it.
