    Japanese Suzuki carry 1998….

    I used Valvoline 10W40 semi-synthetic in a Suzuki Jimny which has a similar .66L 3-cylinder in it. No UOA info for you, but it's been running great for about two years now.

    Amsoil can’t figure out how to make louvers or how many ADBVs belong in a filter; M1 has never been a top performer in efficiency. Fram Ultra dominates both.

    I’d use the OEM filter and any 0w-20 you prefer. If you’re struggling with the plug you might want to let the dealer handle it.

    Filter efficiency refers to how many particles the filter media will retain at a given size. Wix has been resistant to giving out hard data on the XP's but I believe the last I heard (and please correct me if I'm wrong) was that they captured 50% of particles at 20 microns or greater.     WIX XP Question…

    XP interval is extended on account of its pathetic efficiency. Rather than try to get more miles out of the XP I’d swap to a regular Wix, Fram Ultra or Microgard Select.

    I've settled on Fram Ultra & Microgard Select. The only "better" options I'm aware of are Amsoil or Royal Purple and both of those are cost prohibitive and would have to be ordered. In the truck I use either Fleetguard or Donaldson.
