    Amsoil SS 0W-20 w/ Amsoil EA15K09 - 10022KM - 2018 Prius Prime

Got my UOA back for my Prius Prime. Being a PHEV I doubt it even had 6000km on the oil. Boron was low OA claimed. However lots of TBN left and wear metals to my untrained eye don’t look to bad. Comments and insights always appreciated.

    Amsoil EA15K09 C&P

Oddly enough I noticed that when I drained it... it had a strange red hue to it... was wondering if it cleaned up some varnish, from lack of use, or created some, from lack of use lol. I sent a sample off for analysis. But yes I did notice it. But the engine still sounds fine, and not like I am...

    Amsoil EA15K09 C&P

It was Amsoil SS 0w-20 and that filter out, and Castrol Edge EP 0W-20 and a Toyota OEM 90915-YZZN1. Gotta say though probably placebo and no slight to Amsoil, as I still have purchased more of their Oil and it's on deck. However that lil 1.8L 2ZR-FXE sure sounds like it likes this oil... seems...

Still perfecting how to take good pictures without getting oil on my phone. They definitely aren’t to the standards others have set here but I tried my best lol. Out of my Prius Prime 2018 10022KM and 10.5 months on the filter. However it being a PHEV it’s hard to judge how many KM actually ran...

18.000 miles no oil change in a '96 Renault and I opened the valve cover

Wow I am no expert, but that is not what I expected to see. I thought it'd be much worse.

Just had a great Easter afternoon before dinner. Did my misses 2010 Corolla with the 1.8L 2ZR-FE. Great family run about and commuter. She’s been a remarkably reliable car. An alternator and a CV axle is all that’s been replaced. Mind you pretty sure I have a condenser leak so that will be in...

Well managed to go over the line south into the wonderous USA. OFAD (Oil & Filter Acquisition Disorder) struck again. I bought all things you can’t find in Canada. 2x Techron Fuel System Cleaner 4x FE4967 for the Prius. 1x FE10295 for the Tundra (wish they had a few more all they had) 2x...

    Anybody have a ZeroDrive ratchet?

I have all three. I'd be lying if I said I was using them frequently. However they work great in tight spaces and feel well bit. Time will tell for their durability.

Are dealers now stocking the SP version of TGMO 0W-20?

My dealer in Canada has only had SP for sale for at least a year. Maybe longer. It’s not a new standard. I think the part number stayed the same however.
