5w20 is suggested on the owners manual and its on the oil cap. but ive used 5w30 in my hyundai elantra limited since new. no problems. im still getting 33+mpg.

walmart has castrol edge 5w30 marked down online right now for 24.22 they have 0w20 for 20.99. i just purchased two jugs of 5w30 and used the $20 castrol rebate i seen on here. good deal on good oil. from here on out, castrol will be going in my ranger as long as i own it.

this is the first time using quaker state oil in this truck & the first time its been this dark so fast. ive used mobil advanced & castrol edge prior to this recent change. m1 & castrol was never this dark, even at 5-6 months.
