Yup, I’ve been keeping all receipts and keeping a service log. My last test with the higher tin levels came just after a long 500 mile trip which included going over 3 passes. I wasn’t towing but I was hauling quite a bit of weight. This could have had something to do with the higher levels.

Just their off the Walmart shelf API certified stuff. I have a lifetime drivetrain warranty on my truck so I’m sticking to API certified 5w-20 oils per my manual to keep that. That’s why I ran the amsoil XL and not their signature series.

Your numbers are pretty accurate.

They or I transposed them. First one was 7 months 2719 miles. Second was 4 months 2699 miles. It asked for lube time so I’m putting the mileage it was used.

Did a second oil analysis on my Ram 1500 5.7 Hemi. The top was Pennzoil Ultra. The bottom was amsoil XL. Both same weight and both used roughly the same mileage 2700. Copper came down but tin exploded. Anything to worry about there with an engine that has just under 15k miles?

Probably correct I will say one thing I’ve noticed with the amsoil already is that it’s 1-2 psi higher at both idle and driving than the pennzoil was which I’ve read is important for these Hemis. Maybe it’s a thicker 5w-20? We’ll see.

Keep an eye on it. PUP’s price fluctuates on Amazon a lot. I check it every so often and anytime the 5qrt jug gets to $19-$22 I buy a jug or two then within a day it seems it’s either unavailable or back up to mid $30s.
