How does Fram Honda PS Fluid Compare to Genuine Honda PS Fluid

Ryans method is good, I did it myself. Just make sure to bleed air out after doing.

How does Fram Honda PS Fluid Compare to Genuine Honda PS Fluid

Yes I should have updated it it's actually 2 for 10***. Quite a deal. I am gonna try it. I don't have a MITY vac but I have a hand fluid pump, so I can just siphon out some here and there and eventually it will be clean. Using pump I avoid messiness of a turkey baster. And at 5 bucks a quart who...

How does Fram Honda PS Fluid Compare to Genuine Honda PS Fluid

Yeah that's true. But when pumping it out it never really turned clear. Probably being OCD but that's what this forum is for.

How does Fram Honda PS Fluid Compare to Genuine Honda PS Fluid

Not a ton of fluid. But using the method where I pump it out of the reservoir, I've probably used 5 or 6 Honda bottles over the past 3 years and it's still pretty dark. Honda ones are about 20/36oz which isn't a huge deal.

How does Fram Honda PS Fluid Compare to Genuine Honda PS Fluid

Yeah I might have to grab them. Doesn't get sub 0 where I live and I sure hope I don't move somewhere where it does. You guys know sealed shelf life of bottles probably wouldn't use 2nd for 2-5 years. Also in theory could a subpar fluid shorten the life of a steering rack?

Can it mix with the regular honda PS fluid? 2 quarts for 10 is crazy.

    Cover for Jack Oil

Yeah that's true. I might just pour it into a cup next time I us it and see if any chunks fell off. I think if I unscrew the top cap and poke a hole I'll avoid any chunks falling into the oil though.

    Cover for Jack Oil

Good idea on the bag. So I actually tried putting a screw in it but it cracked the top a little bit. I used some quick drying rtv and I can't squeeze any out so seems pretty solid. What's yalls take on that. I guess I can poke a hole on the rtv to gain access again. I don't think I'll need to...

Everstart Max worth 2x Everstart Value?

@bluefeb95 Interesting. Is there a way to tell which version it is from the box or do I have to test them. I only have a multimeter. Fortunately it doesn't get past high 80s often where I am at.

Everstart Max worth 2x Everstart Value?

Good to know Hall. That one has lower amps and is the same price, so I won't bother. My current battery says 24f-c but sounds like it's the same thing. Just curious, maybe there's a higher rated battery that would be compatible that would fit?

Everstart Max worth 2x Everstart Value?

Ok thanks for the tip. I placed a online order so I can get the 10% cashback and have it reserved, but I'll bring my voltmeter and see if I can swap it if it's under 12.5.

Cat pressure washer pump oil vs SAE 30 non detergent

Hi I'm looking for a pump oil for my briggs pressure washer (it's just a cheapy horizontal spark one). I see this fancy cat brand oil, and then I see a lot of other brands that just sound like non detergent sae 30. What's the move here. Should I just buy some sae 30 non detergent? Or this 'pump...

Everstart Max worth 2x Everstart Value?

Thanks for sharing @sky jumper . I believe my car is a 24f as well (3.5l accord 2009). Wow the 585 cold crank value was really 700? That's impressive. I think we'll try the value here and if I get close to 3 years it's a winner. If it's only 1-2 years no big foul.

Jeez 6-9 years. Do you do anything special to maintain the battery? Rakuten has 10% cashback on Walmart automotive right now.

Everstart Max worth 2x Everstart Value?

Hey folks. I am looking at the everstart value (59) and max (120). Do you think the max will really last 2x+ of the value one? My current battery is an AAA premium manufactured fall 16 installed march 17 that's on it's last legs, so about 5.5 years. Located in SE USA winters around 30-40 with...
