Am I the only one paranoid about giving people a jump start?

I carry a jump-pack with me at all times. They are welcome to use it, but aren't going to hookup jumper cables...

What are you working on today?

Installed this Mishimoto coolant expansion tank on my Type R. The OEM tank are a common failure point often blowing coolant all over the engine bay. I know this because I had mine replaced under warranty.

    2023 Civic Type R 5800 mile OCI

I believe I had Honda OEM filter on for that OCI. Fram Ultra filter is on there now and I usually run them for 2 OCI.

    2023 Civic Type R 5800 mile OCI

I have pretty much stuck to the idea of 5 to 6K OCI with my DI turbo-charged engine. After getting this report back it seems to me I could probably safely stretch my OCI to 7000-7500 miles. Fuel dilution seems to have been held in check and the TBN still looks strong. I have PUP 5W-30 in the...

    16 Malibu, 1.5 liter, HPL PCMO 5W30 5,400 miles

This is my vexing question as well. I'm currently waiting on my UOA running PUP 0W-20 for the 2.0 Turbo DI (6000 OCI) 23 Civic Type R. I'm mostly interested in the fuel number. I typically do 5000 OCI but I drive quite a bit so that is every 2 months. I only run 93 top tier fuel and my miles are...

    Going to the thicker side

I just finished my stash of PUP 0W-20 and switched to PUP 5W-30 for the summer in my 23 Type R. After my stash of PUP 5W-30 is gone my intentions are to run HPL 0W-30 all year long.

I've never seen PUP on any store shelf in my city. The only place I've ever been able to buy PUP has been online.

    Calif. Car Duster longevity

I second this notion completely. I have one for my dash, interior and they seem to work better as they age, but it is certainly a no-go on paint for me. A rinseless wash solution 64:1 ratio and a soft microfiber towel is my go to for light dust removal.

LSjr Tests VOA of 20 yr old Valvoline & 40 yr old Mobil 1 Oil. HPL tests Anti-Foam in Gear Oil.

Parsimonious is certainly a big word, but I believe it means stingy or frugal so I'm not sure it was used in the proper context.

10,000 mile VS 20,000 mile engine oil

I'm not trying to be Debbie Downer here, but please put to rest any thoughts of running extended OCI in your future with that Soul. I was once a Kia Soul owner which we had bought new and sadly it left me one morning on the side of the expressway, sitting in a pool of oil, with a new vent hole...
