    Tire Choices/ Ideas?

We have these Hankook Kinergy tires on 2 vehicles and they are the best performing tire we've ever owned for all seasons. They do really well in the snow as well. For what it's worth, I highly recommend these tires. https://www.hankooktire.com/us/en/tire/kinergy/4s2-h750.html

What are you eating right now?

Well the Wife always cooks her Cranberries in orange juice and they are delicious! So, I'm having some left over cranberries, stuffing, turkey and then, a piece of pecan pie. Starting tomorrow, no more leftovers haha. Had enough of the turkey feast with all the trimmings for a while.

    Gout

I take a 300MG Allopurinol every day and haven't had a problem since. And, I know exactly what you mean about the bed sheets. Couldn't stand for one to touch my foot, big toe. Period! Anyway, all is good now.

Do You Ever Keep Up With Your Old Car?

We have a 2003 Ford Taurus and we keep up everything on it not missing anything. It runs as good now if not better at 152,000 miles as it did new. We wouldn't be scared at all to drive it coast to coast and not break a sweat. Got a paint problem on the trunk but, mechanically it is in tip top...

When to change transmission and rear diff fluid in 2020 f150

Change it after 500 to 1000 miles. Let the gears remove what they will and clean it extremely well and replace fluid. Just my opinion.

    LiquiMoly

"Avoid using aftermarket oil additives – Store shelves are littered with aftermarket additives that promise to increase fuel economy, reduce wear or restore an old engine to like-new. Adding them to your oil disrupts the oil’s chemistry and may reduce its ability to protect your engine. When...

    Shower Cleaner

Remove the shower head and soak it in White Vinegar until all the gunk and hard water deposits dissolve and loosen up. After, wash it thoroughly with clean water and re-install. Works great. As for the shower stall itself, a good cleaner with bleach and a lot of elbow grease haha.

What are you eating right now?

I covered a beef roast with mustard and spread plenty of Cavender's all purpose Greek Seasoning, garlic powder, and black pepper on it then sliced onion on the top and smoked it for 7 hours. The mustard holds the seasoning on and when finished you can't even taste it. Delicious. I am having two...

If 10mm is ok for bears, why not 357 mag?

357 Mag would be sufficient in most cases, imo. My Dad loaded all of his own ammo starting way back in 1966 and 357 Mag was one of his favorite calibers in the pistol category. He could load them with different powder, bullet configurations and some was very destructive. He also cast a lot of...

Boutique (Amsoil etc) vs premium normal (Mobil1 etc)?

I've never used Mobil 1 but from what I read here, many seem to like it a lot. Started running Havoline Pro DS 5w30 in my 2003 Ford F-150, 4.2 V6 with only 95,000 original miles and the motor seems to love it. Runs very quiet, doesn't use any oil between 5,000 mile oil changes and, stays fairly...
