    IDE Drive Jumper Setting

    - Have finished my new Win 7/64-bit build now and I've got this new old stock Deskstar IDE drive that I want to use for storage. I just want it to show up as an independent device with a drive letter but wanted to verify which jumper setting and ribbon cable connectors to use. Should it be a...

    "Smart Media" Card Reader

Greetings: Will be upgrading to Windows 7 64-bit in the next 6-12 months and am hoping that I will be able to find a card reader for my Olympus C-3000 Zoom digital camera. Olympus America has advised me that this camera will not be supported so my only option is a reader. Been shopping a few...

    Help With New Monitor Setup

    - Would you believe I just bought my first LCD monitor after living with my last CRT for 11 years, but am having a few issues here with tuning it in. It is an Eizo/Nanao model S2433WH Flexscan. I'm use to having an executable file for drivers etc. but Eizo told me that all their monitors are...

    Oil Filter--engine seized

About 10 years ago now my brother in law drove the 3 hour trip from his home to visit for the weekend. After arriving they went shopping locally a short time later and when returning he got about a half a mile away from our residence and the vehicle starting making noise he said after driving it...

    Re: MS Outlook Compacting Prompt

    - Looking like it may have been my SP3 update causing this. It seems that you have to tell the Windows Search function included in one of the MS updates to stop indexing Outlook.

    Re: MS Outlook Compacting Prompt

Thanks. I currently have the Thunderbird compacting automatically but what does that have to do with Outlook if I'm not using it for my mail? What if I click OK on the Outlook prompt to compact will that at least get rid of it for awhile or will that cause issues in my Thunderbird profile...

    Re: MS Outlook Compacting Prompt

For whatever reason as of late I am getting an Outlook can compact your mail prompt at start-up. I have always used Netscape/Mozilla integrated mail and am currently using Thunderbird 3.0, but have never used Outlook for my mail at any time. I am running Windows XP 2002/SP3 and the Outlook...

Toyota Tacomas recalled for Front Drive Shaft

Whether this is accurate or not I remember hearing somewhere awhile ago that apparently Toyota tended to constantly worry about things and if it had nothing in general to worry about, it would worry about that. Obviously there is the possibility that for the next while there will be many systems...

If someone knows for certain the exact details of the issue here could they comment please? They have branded this as a "faulty gas pedal" but the few incidents I had heard of left me under the impression that the floor mat was moving forward and accidentally holding the pedal down, either by...
