how long do u think oil that lubricates the motor stays there before completely ending up in the pan?? Talk about a beyond terrible idea!

Just came back to this thread and had the greatest laugh reading some of the comments and realizing my initial post was kinda silly. So many better things we can stress out over these days. I guess are vehicles are a hideaway from the real world

The Manual for my 2019 Jeep states never leave engine oil in beyond 12 months. I’m assuming Chrysler states this because the oil gets caustic an can be detrimental to some internal engine parts even if you have not maxed out on the oil’s mileage rating. Is this assumption correct. Thanks

I store my Jeep in my garage for about 5 months each year and put in fresh oil an filter prior to storage and start it up and let it idle for 15 minutes once a month. My question is should I replace my oil again once my storage period is up prior to putting the vehicle back in service? Thanks...

For my Wrangler JLU I’ve purchased Mopar oil filter MO-349 (6819 1349 AC) the center core does not spin. I’ve also purchased the Fram Ultra Synthetic media filter (XG11665) which has a center core that does spin. So is one better than the other or what’s the advantage of one that spins or not...

So you just pulled out the Oem filter an what was your oil change interval? Was the condition an appearance of the filter what you expected to see?

Are Mopar cartridge oil filters a synthetic blend media and does anyone know how good the filtration quality is and how are they looking when it’s time to pull them out to replace them. My Wrangler JLU with the 3.6 motor uses these filters and I plan on doing my own oil changes
