Do Not Leave Motor Oil In Motor Beyond 12Months

The Manual for my 2019 Jeep states never leave engine oil in beyond 12 months. I’m assuming Chrysler states this because the oil gets caustic an can be detrimental to some internal engine parts even if you have not maxed out on the oil’s mileage rating. Is this assumption correct. Thanks

Motor Oil In Engine During Storage Period

I store my Jeep in my garage for about 5 months each year and put in fresh oil an filter prior to storage and start it up and let it idle for 15 minutes once a month. My question is should I replace my oil again once my storage period is up prior to putting the vehicle back in service? Thanks...

Cartridge Style Oil Filters Center Core Query

For my Wrangler JLU I’ve purchased Mopar oil filter MO-349 (6819 1349 AC) the center core does not spin. I’ve also purchased the Fram Ultra Synthetic media filter (XG11665) which has a center core that does spin. So is one better than the other or what’s the advantage of one that spins or not...

    1 Quart Oil Storage

My motor requires 6 quarts of oil an my dilemma is that the 5 quart jug will be on sale but that extra quart never is so I pay full price for it an there goes my savings. I could by two 5 quart jugs an store the other jug that has 4 quarts left but I don’t like to do that since I’ve unsealed the...

    Mopar Cartridge Oil Filters

Are Mopar cartridge oil filters a synthetic blend media and does anyone know how good the filtration quality is and how are they looking when it’s time to pull them out to replace them. My Wrangler JLU with the 3.6 motor uses these filters and I plan on doing my own oil changes

2019 JLU Wrangler Oil Filter 3.6 Motor

I’ve been using the M1 canister filters on my other vehicles for years an have always been happy with them. My Jeep has introduced me to cartridge filters which I don’t know a lot about an I’m sure the Mopar filters are fine but it seems the Fram Ultra are ranked pretty high for those of us who...
