    SG Ammo order

Good to know. Thanks. Will check them out. I used to go Target Sports USA routinely, but they're becoming less competitive with prices and I had poor experience with their exclusive brand .38, New Republic. The Magtech.380 from SG has been just fine so far.

Why Honda is no longer Toyota's equal in the used car market.

I've owned 5 Volvos over the years 1993 240 Wagon 1996 V60 Wagon 1994 240 Sedan( daughters car) 1995 850 Sedan (sons car) 2006 XC90 The Volvo leather interiors were trash. They wore out and cracked prematurely. The engines were rock solid except for the 8550 turbo....junk. The 240 wagon...

    Questions for any general contractors

Locations with a lot of home construction creates competition...as do higher income locations. Google reviews are generally accurate in my experience. Referrals are probably the best tool for selection. We hired a roofing/siding contractor for our beach house based on my checking Google Reviews...

Gas vs pellet grill in a very windy area

That's an excellent, versatile solution. I have the Weber Gourmet System grates...but don't use them anymore and I bought this on Amazon: https://a.co/d/05zi4B2a It works great sitting over the sear burner and 2 right side burners. I just place it over the stainless grates.

    Ruger Security .380 initial review

Overall... outstanding. Had to shoot at the 25 yard range...far from ideal but I was more centered on function/operation. Utilized all 200 assorted brand/type ammo perfectly. It will be my go to pistol along with my Taurus M85 revolver. Super satisfied..

Gas vs pellet grill in a very windy area

This was at the curb for bulk trash pickup a few years ago down the street from our beach house. It was missing the hinge pins for the hood and the pan that holds the grease trap liners...and it needed a little cleaning. I ordered the parts for $7.00. I've owned several Webers over the years as...

    Repair John Boos cutting board

I've got a little bit of the Boos stuff left. I also have a can of Walrus Wax and mineral oil. Just finished filling any small cracks and joints with Titebond and maple sawdust. I'll start sanding when it hardens. Forgot to add...when I glued up the first 2 of three pieces, I shot 3 2" brads...

    Repair John Boos cutting board

That's exactly what happened. I've got the mineral oil and beeswax ready to go. There are some good ready made products out there too . It's a a heavy thing...18"x18" by 2.25" thick.

    Repair John Boos cutting board

We bought a John Boos Newton Prepmaster cutting board two years ago...my wife liked it so much, we immediately bought another one for our beach house. I kept up with recommend maintenance for a few months, but then let it lapse. Maintenance is routine(monthly) rubbing it down on both sides with...

Gas vs pellet grill in a very windy area

I have both...a Weber Genesis II E-325 and a Oakford (Nexgrill) 528 pellet grill. I like them both. The convenience of the Weber is hard to beat. I've not had an issue with wind with either. The pellet grill has Bluetooth and Wifi control...for temperature or to turn off. The Weber has nothing...

How many GPM for lawn sprinkler system?

Looks healthy! I stopped using the seasonal fertilizers...I never understood the numbers. Switched to Milorganite about 4 years ago. Impossible to screw up and the lawn looks pretty good and always comes back great in fall. I just never realized how much water actually gets used for 10-15...

"Overthinking" is a kinder way of saying indecisive.

    SG Ammo order

I googled it and checked the site. They're currently sold out of .380. New and remanufactured. Pretty reasonable on .38 though. I'll keep them in mind. Thanks.

    SG Ammo order

He's following the oil industry model...any time any one farts in the Middle East or Ukraine or elsewhere... shortage...buy now or else, scarcity. It works for the stupid.

    SG Ammo order

It bothered me too...and he doesn't let up with it. He rode that nitrocellulose shortage...that never really materialized relentlessly...and here we are with any kind of ammo one would want at fairly decent prices. Total BS.

    SG Ammo order

The doom and gloom marketing is as old as the hills...easy enough to overlook. Good pricing, fast, well packaged shipping. That's all.
