I have that mower with the Kawasaki motor on it and was going to change the oil. Looked in the book and it says 20w50, 10w40 etc. I like to use synthetic oil and the last change I used Mobil1 synthetic 20w50 but everywhere I look I find Mobil in a 15w50. Can I just use that and all be fine or...

After seeing what you posted I googled that and saw a couple videos about how and why a person would do that. Never knew anything about that but if I had I would do it everytime I changed my oil. Will do it in a week when I change my oil again and will do it when I am going to start the truck...

Thanks for the replies. I usually buy the Havoline 5w-30 Lifelong full synthetic as that box comes in the 6 qt pack and that is how much I need for my truck so I assume it will be fine?

Saw both of these at Wally and thought since they are basically the same price would it be better to go with the Castrol as compared to the Supertech? Have used Supertech before but thought maybe the Castro; might be a better oil with the wear additives it seems to have. Amy info is appreciated...

Saw at Wally that there was a Supertech 0w-20 full synthetic advanced motor oil. Haven’t seen that particular writing on the 5 quart jug but they also have the box with multiple quarts as well. Good or bad? This oil or the Mobil 1 Advanced Fuel Economy?

Just bought a 2021 Chevy Silverado with the 5.3 in it. Looking towards oil changes and am leaning towards the Mobil 1 Advanced Fuel Economy 0w-20. Usually change every 5k miles. Usually don't use the AC Delco filters but may start. I think it calls for the PF 63E. Don't know what the E means but...
