I changed the trans 80-90 before the winter. but the problem is that it doesn't glide into the next gear more so when it's colder. Feels like the sincros are not doing the job to well. I did use the regular gear oil from canadian tire brand. Maybe it's normal or should I be using something else...

The car now has 500km on it and I would like to use M1 in the cars engine and tranny, when should I do the first old change and can I use M1 5W-30 right away? Also the manual states the tranny uses 75W-90 can I switch that to Mobil1 gear oil also.

He wants to change the oil today but unsure of what oil to use. He drives the living day lights out of the car, yes not the best thing to do but he does. Now with that in mind, what oil should he use and the vis? Redline, Mobil 1. Please advice. Thanks

I have a 92 camry and I use dex 3 in it and I changed my dads 02 camry tranny fluid this weekend and put same dex 3 in it, it's mister transmition fluid. Will this tranny last a long time if I change it every summer.

Ok now that it's starting to get cold here. When I start the car cold and drive away with light throttle the engine choke's, if I give it more throttle it goes, just to fast. Now I was starting to think that it was worn compression rings and the compression was too low when cold therefore this...

Would it be ok to do 20,000KM on this oil if the filter is changed every 5,000KM and toped off?

The reason I want to know is that castrol dino 5w-30 says A1 and I know that mean fuel economy. But there 10W-30 says A1, A5 so what does that mean?

If you had the chose what would you use. The 040 does seem to have better specs then the 030.

I was looking at the specs on the M1 site and it sayed that the oil poured at -50c. Which is realy good, now I'm obviously not going to run this oil in the summer months because I would think it's to thin for an engine with some use. So how about it. But winter isn't for another 6 months

It cost a bit more then GC. Is it better?

Just wondering if that will do the job. It's so much cheaper than buying a bottle of Fuel Injector cleaner that is just a relabled kerosene bottle.
