I don't know what wt. came stock in a '97 CR250 but it was definitely a lot thinner than the **** that came out of his forks... Overall, the oil was some sort of brown but it was VERY thick, much thicker than a 20wt. Inner chamber/outer chamber who knows I just got sick of listen to him complain...

This summer I changed my friends fork oil, it was original from the factory.... '97 CR250 I would have like to see a uoa on that stuff!

I seem to remember someone saying once that this Mobil 1 wasn't all everyone thought it was... 15 hours is too long, I'm looking for an oil that I can run 10 hrs for the trail tour I'm riding this summer so I don't have to carry 5 quarts of oil with me...

Have you had the Exxon 10W-40 tested yet? I just re-visited your post from the Exxon 20W-50... Very impressive especially for $0.79/qt They need to put some of your UOA's on myth-busters

I figure that the Nickel is from some left over dirt? It was trending down but since I don't own the bike I'll never know...

This was my first sample, (in August). I was using a Twin Air filter and No Toil filter oil... When I was cleaning the filter after the ride I noticed it was a bit torn. Not much but I had some dust in the intake boot. This UOA confirmed what I thought... I'm happy to say that the next UOA...

EDIT: The oil was drained after 6 hours and 51 miles. The bike had ~600 miles and 45 hours of use...

20W-50 for $0.79! Sheesh! sunruh, how long does your bike sit between race/practice days? Since one of the other selling points for MC specific oils is the rust protection it offers. For someone like me who only rides 3 or 4 days a month I wonder how much I have to worry about my bikes...
