On upper end Michelin tires, I don't think age is an issue. I attribute that to the quality of the rubber they use. 🤷‍♂️

IMHO, if you can accept the CVT on the Corolla Cross, it's the closest vehicle to the specs you are looking for. Naturally aspirated, FWD, Japanese-ish.

ST? Also, why do you have mold in there? are you running straight water in your system? IIRC, all winter rated windshield washer fluid has alcohol in it (that's how it keeps from freezing). As I understand it, that's not an environment that's conducive to growing mold.

+1 Some of them are "shelf stable" so they don't even need to be refrigerated. First time I knew such a product existed was in the early 90's in a grocery store in S. Africa (many living in poverty, where a refrigerator isn't always available).

Sometimes they'll harass us while we're filling the feeder!

After spending considerable time with both, I'd have a difficult decision turning either of them down. Especially when you compare them to the sea of boring SUV's. If I really had to choose, I'd go with the Nissan. Their front seat comfort is hard to beat.
