That's litereally the best case scenario for that rogue tire. I've seen situations where the tire/wheel goes under the vehicle, or the tire/wheel goes into the passenger compartment.

Not necessarily. If the vehicle wasn't driven recently (as many new vehicles sit on the lot before purchase), the battery was probably low causing the engine to start. Only once there was sufficient charge did the gas engine not need to be started, hence the scenario in OP's post.

I agree with @CleanSump suggestions above. Castrol being a group III oil, it doesn't protect nearly as well as the ones he's suggested.

It's a decent oil. Certainly not the best, but not the worst either. 🤷‍♂️

You are correct. IMHO, the majority of folks with headlight issues (that aren't cloudy/hazy plastic lenses) would benefit greatly from a set of replacement halogen bulbs. Not only are they cheaper than LED, they maintain the OEM beam pattern, while being easy to oncoming drivers.

Have you contacted the dealer about this? I know your car is old, but Lexus has been know to address this issue well outside of the warranty.

These cars have low pressure turbos and are targeted towards the octogenarian church lady crowd. So no, there's no real issue or concern with this vintage of Volvo.
