    That's definitely not right if the spots are angled with traffic. I believe OP is referring to perpendicular spots, which reversing in is the correct way.

    Sounds like OP has never driven anything other than a car. The larger the vehicle the easier it is to corner in reverse. Backing into spots is the "correct" way and is the rule at many work places. My company being one of them with their "first move forward" policy

    Daily driving is where the issue lies. If its a clutch type diff it'll chatter without the friction modifier
