    FCS struts from Rock Auto?

I removed some Monroe Quickstruts on a vehicle that failed (noisy bearing) after just over 1 year. Installed some Sensen replacements I purchased on Amazon. The Sensen quickstruts seem to perform better than the Monroe. I'll never buy Monroe Quickstruts again.

suredrive all season?? any good? they are cheap

Not necessarily true. A lot of Costco's "Kirkland Signature" items are nothing more the repackaged name brands. The exact same product. No cost cutting, except advertising. At most the packaging is different (like a sidewall branding on a tire). To some people paying for a name brand...

suredrive all season?? any good? they are cheap

I think you are exaggerating a bit. Kumho is a solid brand. They are a South Korean company. The provide OEM tires on a lot of makes and models. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Kumho_Tire

suredrive all season?? any good? they are cheap

I have them on an older car. So far they have been a great tire for the price. The SureDrive Touring A/S tire sold at Firestone is the same tire as the Kumho Solus TA71...

    Question regarding Inner Tie Rods

Thanks. One of the outers had a small tear in the boot. Tie Rods was functioning fine, but thought I'd change them out because of the boot...just saw it. Looked fine initially until I just inspected it.

    Question regarding Inner Tie Rods

Boots aren't torn. No noticable play. They just drop down when you let go of them, is all... Thoughts?

    Question regarding Inner Tie Rods

I am changing the outer tie rod ends on a larger car (Ford Five Hundred) as preventative maintenance (a daughter will be using the car at college - car has 150K miles). After disconnecting the outer tie rods, I noticed that the inner tie rod immediately flops / drops down, with no resistance...

Monroe shocks made in the U.S.

Similar experience. Monroe Quick Struts clunking and rattling after less than a year. Had to do the job over. And I chose Monroe over the Chinese brands to avoid going bottom of the barrel and having a more quality part. Clearly Monroe isn't that.

    KYB Strut Plus SUCK

I generally agree. But part of the reason I replaced the struts is that one of the original struts had a sagging spring, so that it had too much negative camber. It looks like the OEM spring had worn out. Plus, the convenience / safety factor of choosing a Quick Strut. So far, not happy with...

    KYB Strut Plus SUCK

I just put a set of KYB Strut Plus on all 4 corners of a Dodge Avenger. So far, the only thing I noticed is the ride quality is noticeably more stiff and rough...like what you'd expect from a sports car or something. I am not impressed with the ride quality. Hopefully it won't end up being a...

    Raybestos Element 3

I had a similar experience on a large car. When I took the Raybestos E3 pads off to inspect them, while they still had a lot of pad material left, they had a lot of cracking. So I replaced them with a different brand. It was annoying to have to change the pads early.

GY Reliant or Kumho LX Platium?

A car of that age? I've had good luck with these tires so far: https://www.walmart.com/ip/Primewell-PS890-Touring-All-Season-205-65R15-94H-Passenger-Tire/1103247595

Need help from experts on here - Primewell PS890

I've been running these for about a month now. Seem to perform well enough. A decent budget tire---priced very competitively on Walmart.com I recommend them so far.

is there a basis in not trusting 'all in one' atf fluids?

I've had great success with Redline ATFs in multiple vehicles. Better than stock fluid that has noticeably improved shifting.

    195/65R15 shortage?

I just had 2 in a size P215/60R17 installed on a car today. Honestly, I had my doubts, but they were cheap so I gambled and went with them. We'll see how they are.

Tires with different dates and country of origin

Maybe order 2 more of the same tires (6 total tires), and then return 2 of them that you don't like, to Kohls or Whole Foods, or where ever Amazon accepts returns.
