If it where me I would have dumped it at 500 miles. I think the Havoline with the high moly content is what I would use. Yes I would dump it at 2000.

Looks like an excellent report. You are probably right about the silicon. It really is a suprise that it did not come down with the paper filter. What I have found is that new paper filters do not filter well until they have 10,000 miles or more. My silicon went from 14 to 4 as my filter aged.

Don't see any problems with this UOA. You still have some break-in going on but at 9976 this is what one would expect. This is the reason to do several quick changes with a new engine. You will see improvements as it wears in.

I think I would go back to the Esso with maybe a 5w-30 weight.
