Bobcat specs their "own oil" even for machines not made by them. Generally though many,around here use Delvac Tractor Fluid(Mobil424) or equivalent type fluids in their Bobcat branded equipment. They have some zinc in them.

Why waste resources, buy 2 QTS of total 10w-60, that should increase the viscosity of your 5w-30 and you can run your "fine" oil until the next OCI. At next OCI use 5w-40.

I had the same problems, cleaned the terminal, put the pads like Trav mentioned and sprayed with the battery terminal spray. Corrosion never came back.

I believe HPL mentioned somewhere that to be technically correct, EC works best with conventional/semi synthetics. It is of course 100% compatible with synthetics but there is a slight advantage to using EC with conventional. This is BITOG after all, so every advantage counts.

I believe PCMO cleans better when used full strength because it has ANs as well. EC is concentrated. The way I see it, 1qt EC diluted to 20% would clean better the PCMO diluted to 20%. PCMO at 100% would clean better than EC at 20%. I would not run EC 100%.
