I have a gas john deer mower that was given to me but it wasn't running. I got it arunning and it's done ok for about 2 years but it's definitely on its last legs. I would bebwilling to spend up to 600 bucks on a mower if I knew it would have good longevity. I would prefer to stay around 400 though.

About half an acre. The gas or eletric is fine.

Looking at getting a new lawn mower, I've always used my sun Joe corded eletric, which I loved but I've moved to a house where the yard is too big to keep using it. I'm looking for a self propelled push mower. Recommendations?

I used the redline D4 ATF and it noticed an immediate difference. I would definitely recommend using the redline. I also used a wix filter replacement. I did mine at pretty much the same mileage as well.

The only thing I got when I reved the engine in neutral was about at 4000 rpm the exhaust would sputter. Also looked like the water that came out looked mixed with oil

F Flecplate is good. Checked it when I did the torque converter bolts. It knocks for both whether it gas quickly or slowly. When I apply it quickly however the knocking quiets until I get up to speed.

I check transmission mounts and they are still good.

Does not knock in neutral. I hear it sometimes when I coast in gear but it's short lived and not as bad. I noticed that if I press the gas harder than I normally would it quiets down for a sec until I am up to speed.

Sorry, I don't know why but it is having a hard time letting me post pictures. I got these on Rock Auto. I believe I got them for 3.97 a piece. pics of the adbv but it looked very good and it was silicone. The gasket was normal rubber.

I've managed to round out a 2008 mazda 5 drain plug. I don't need advice on how do get it off. The question is could I use a 2008 ford focus drain plug? I don't have a mazda dealer anywhere near me. It's a 17mm drain plug if that helps any. I can not find the nomenclature of the engine itself...

No, I did not over tighten the cap. Yes, this is the same length as oem. Every time I post a filter from my mazda and there is a twist there is always one person that says this.

Nope, I bought them on sale. I don't really mess with K&N. Used during the winter because the higher flow rate but don't plan on buying them again. There is always a twist on my oil filters unless I get one with wore backed media.

Filter was on a 2008 mazda 5. Was ran with mobile truck and suv. Put on a wix xp with some Franken oil.

It is a smooth rubber gasket. Not ribbed. And gasket maker was on prior. I already scraped it off though. Just cautious because last time I used the rubber one it leaked.

I am changing the transmission fluid in my 2008 Mazda 5. I bought a Wix filter to put on there and it came with a rubber gasket. should I put this on there should I just use gasket maker?

I got the ok to just do it from now on. Miles are put on pretty fast. 3k in a couple weeks
