I have had good luck with McGard. I broke a lock nut from them and the service was exceptional, they Purolated me another lock key and a bag for them even. Gorilla on the other hand sucked. Their lifetime ones were rusted in a year and service ghosted me. F them...

Some things to watch for: If the paint is flaky, dry cracked etc it may not bond well and lift. Best to get the adhesive promoter for edges etc too? Some materials will show everything underneath too like paint does...

A friend bought a used truck that used to be a rental, then a lumber company truck and then a plumbers truck then he got it. It seemed decently cleaned of stickers and he put his on it and now months later you can see outlines of all three previous places on it! :/

I just picked up an Ariens Razor walk behind (RWD 163cc), but thinking of selling it as our backyard has to many things to go around and tons of forward/reverse seems to be a pita with walk behinds :/ Unfortunately its overkill for our yard.

This is exactly how it went with my mom too @Astro_Guy lol... first thing she asked was for me to check the oil, then it led to this whole thing :) I'm not sure if I'd be comfortable leaving it 2yrs though, but I guess with synthetics it might be fine, esp if I take it out now and then...

It does have the optional GDI engine (2.0L). I do try to take it out for a drive every couple months or so. I haven't seen any signs of moisture in the valve covers/cap yet, but that doesn't mean squat as I'm not always around the car. I don't know what the warranty is up here for these cars...

I think you guys are misunderstanding how much she drives. The car only has 18 000kms (~11 000 miles) TOTAL on it, not per year. I don't think it needs 2 oil changes a year at all. Only reason I'm even considering one a year is it sits outside in all weather/winter, short drives etc. @PNW...

Cam cover needs to be resealed? Not a fun job on those from what I recall...

@twX Thank you for the info on the filters and oci, very helpful. I figured as much with the way she drives almost anything would be fine. I'm bad for looking into stuff like this way to much ;)
