This is why we use good synthetic oil…..so we can fudge a bit sometimes (when life gets in the way). That GS350 won’t miss a beat!

Do you know how many hours total this engine has? Was there an hour meter connected to the engine?

I’d just drive it and not worry too much. It’s still very low miles. Many, many people have had great luck with the Hemi engines. OVERKILL knows a lot about Hemi’s. Don’t let me scare you into selling. If you like the truck…..drive it and enjoy.

That I do not know. I googled it and was surprised to learn how much manganese is used as a protective coating for internal parts.

I’d keep an eye on it and do a few more UOAs to see if it stops or slows down. If it continues to rise then i would think you’ve got a wear problem within the engine. Manganese coating is used by many manufacturers on many engine parts: rings, camshaft’s, cylinders etc.
