    Consumer Cellular

I've been using them for a few months now. No problems in my part of Iowa. I'm old and never exceed the limited data plan. With my AARP discount costs me $25 per month.

What cars did your parents schlep you around in as a kid?

1961 Chevy Impala. I was born in 1956, so this is the first one I remember. Black with a white stripe down the side. I called it the "skunk"

    Any stuffed pepper lovers here?

Might sound weird, but most of the time I make "unstuffed peppers" So much easier for taking to a family gathering in a crock pot! Just take your rice / hamburger / tomato sauce / cubed up peppers and seasonings. (I pre-cook the peppers until tender) Throw it all into a casserole dish and bake...

    Studless V/S studded winter tires

Would like to pick some brains with real life experience. Vehicle is a 2018 Subaru Forester AWD. Driven 22 miles each way to work and back Mon_Fri. Read last year the factory tires suck in winter. Decided to try them and buy new winter rated tires if needed. Had more snow in Iowa last year than...

I'm a GM oil life monitor believer

I bought a used Chevy Impala in 2005 after my Granddaughter was born. It had about 90,000 miles and I have no idea on the oil used or intervals. Thought it safer to have a baby in the back seat instead of my pickup. I changed oil when the change engine oil light came on...think it averaged...

I agree, 7500 on the next oil change should work! Just to avoid the hassle and potential problems, I'm sticking with the Subaru 6000 mile oil changes until warranty is done. Then I'll bump it up.

Hey kids, Just got my Blackstone results back today. Would love to share if anyone is interested. First sample with 25,270 total vehicle miles. Liked how it came out and had TBN done as well. Bad new is: I'm a 63 year old man and pretty not computer savvy in the least. I don't even own a smart...
