Have you owned a vehicle for 15 years without internal engine problems

2001 Mazda 626 (ES, 2.5 V6, ATX). Bought new and driven 15 years and 175,000 trouble free miles. I experimented with different brands of oil but the majority of it's life it had either Motorcraft, Pennzoil YB, QSGB, or Castrol HM GTX with either an OEM, WIX or Fram filter. Very dependable car...

:::2013 Hyundai Elantra owner travels 1 million miles with original powertrain

I'm curious how much of a mileage difference tires would make if she regularly used a different size tire than was OEM? Obviously only a small variation would be allowed since the tires would have to fit into the wheel well, but even a 5% increase would be significant given the number of miles...

    Hyundai Dealership Rant

Thank you for all your replies. I agree with the majority and will likely continue to take it back for at least the time being so as to put the responsibility on them for anything that happens. I guess using a torque wrench is not as common as i would have thought.

    Hyundai Dealership Rant

So this is less of a question and more of a rant, but i would appreciate any input as to what the average BITOG'er would do... I bought a new 2017 Hyundai Elantra in late 2016. So far i've been very happy with the car, but less than happy with the dealership. The only service i've had done so...

Lowest temp you ever started an engine.

I won't get the award for lowest temp, but I used 20w50 year-round in my old 1989 VW Jetta 1.8 (Gas). It cranked many times in the lower double digits (14*F was the lowest). It cranked slow, but it started! I used Valvoline AllClimate (white bottle) 20w50. It never used any oil and ran fine when...
