Yes they are confusing. I went back to my AAP yesterday and the Quartz oil I bought a month or two ago is now $16 instead of $13. I don't know why it would go UP when they are trying to clear it.

I've read some prior threads about universal CVT fluids in Jatcos. Some posters were adamant that you never put anything but OEM fluid in Jatcos because they are very finicky about fluid. A number of other posters said they use Castrol/Valvoline with 100% confidence and have never had a problem...

Any SP (or SN or SN+) 0w20 will work fine as long as you aren't going crazy on the OCI's.

Generally when I park facing down a hill I'll put it in drive and coast with it in gear down to the stop sign going 20-30 mph. If I hit the gas it seems to disappear. It has about 63,000 miles and is using 5w20

2012 Kia Forte. Knocking/clicking sound when I'm coasting in drive after a cold start. Doesn't do it in neutral and also doesn't do it when the engine gets just a little warm. Changed oil filter back to KIA OEM and didn't help. Any ideas?

I have one of both of these and they look like the exact same filter. I haven't cut them open but they appear to have the same everything about them. Can anyone confirm?

How close to the coolant temp does the oil stay when a car is fully warm? Say my coolant is 195 degrees after driving for an hour. Would the oil also be 195?
