    Model y serviceability by owner?

^Yeah, I'd want a Model 3 but DW wants the space of the Y. Edit to add that I'm curious about FSD, so I'm torn between acting on the federal credit and waiting for the new hardware that's supposedly around the corner. I don't need a new vehicle at the moment, so I can choose either option.

    Model y serviceability by owner?

I test drove a blue like that yesterday. Do you have any major complaints about your model Y?

    Model y serviceability by owner?

Was able to stop by a Tesla service center, and they at-least stated that they sold parts to owners.

    Model y serviceability by owner?

Hi Guys, I'm considering a model y to replace an aging Prius. I'm now waffling a bit from a previous question I asked: https://bobistheoilguy.com/forums/threads/vehicle-recommendation-4-seat-sporty-manual-reliable.393712/ Realized that a model y might fit the bill, if I relaxed the manual...

Flex pipe broke near the muffler inlet

Hi Guys, Looking for some advice. My flex pipe broke near the muffler inlet on my 2018 2.7 ecoboost after 65k miles. "Built Ford Tough" eh. Curious how I can repair this. Ford sells the flex pipe integrated with the muffler for ~$425. Unfortunately I've only got ~2'' to work with before I hit...

Yeah, ok. Brake pads were on. Rotating just the bearing would have been a better idea...

Wheel bearing "slight" noise by hand

Hi Guys, Would you consider a "slight" wheel bearing noise, audible only when rotating the tire by hand, enough to warrant replacement? No play when attempting to induce movement by grabbing the tire at 3/9 clock. 190k miles. My initial feeling was no. Thanks, -kehyler

Vehicle recommendation (4 seat, sporty, manual, reliable)

Ok guys, that's a lot to think about. I'll probably filter the list also by say still currently being made (makes me feel better about parts availability, I suppose). I put a link to this thread in a little document I have listing a few options when the time comes.

The Toyota Corolla GR is catching my eye. Just to add price point <$50k.

Yeah, that was a bad bullet point. Edited for clarity.

Vehicle recommendation (4 seat, sporty, manual, reliable)

Hi Guys, I've got an older Prius that I'm creating a list of replacements for when the time comes (it's not urgent). Here's my current desires, I'm not brand loyal. Soft requirements: Prefer manual, though not a dealbreaker Somewhat sporty, want something fun to drive on my daily commute...

That's not quite true, the change to belt in oil overlapped with the introduction of dual injection.

2.7 Ecoboost - An overbuilt beast with a flaw

Forgive me if this has been discussed, but the 3.0 diesel specifies an 180 month, 150k mile interval for their belt in oil. Does that interval make sense to adopt to a 2.7 eco boost as preventative maintenance?

Looks like dewalt has dedicated small impact “wrenches” too, like DCF923B but this is different? But he was just using a regular impact driver like one that frequently comes with a regular drill in a combo kit. I’m only used to impact drivers being used on like Torx screws for decks.
