Please avoid that filter! I cut open a new made Mexico Napa pro select, and it was millina envelope type paper inside.. Super thin paper and ripped by.touch ..I wouldn't use it on a lawn mower imo

The backing on the media is awful thin. The media its self isn't great looking and the center tube seems to be a mystery. Not the best looking fram, we have seen much better examples.

Maybe its not a great filter? Was not great looking from the start be honest

Fantastic, looks nice. I service a 1.4t cruze and before I touched it the filter was crazy with waves. Now we have been running ST 20K MI filters.. First one changed was still perfect. Going to do 2 5k runs on this next one.

Kind of a similar story here, use to hate anything but metal end caps.. No longer, I tore apart (even after it was left open side up in a big rain storm) an acdelco not too long ago and was sold. No more 10$+ filters needed for me.

That filter looks pretty good. If you can get around the non metal end caps it looks nice..

Is PAG 46 and pag 150 safe to mix? In general are all pag oils interchangeable / safe to mix? Thanks

Can even use a blend of oil and atf, or just atf also

To echo on what zee said I've seen low compression and more, with almost zero signs that an unknowingly buyer could miss.. Once an engine is warm/ran and cool/cold previously alot of the symptoms can disappear.. Just some food for thought.

I use to only buy premium filters but its just not really worth it anymore imo.. now I'm buying acdelco oem.. I always run shorter oci most of the time where the acdelco is fine, and like you, I like the ecore for a few reasons. Sometimes good enough is just that, good enough.

Probably true, but the media attachment to the end caps was exceptionally easy to remove from any glue it was shocking... Very flimsy. Just not a good filter 👎

These filters have quite the track record for tearing that I've came across when looking it up. This particular filter id bet money the bottom would separate from the end cap at the least.

Feel like we dodged a bullet 😋

Lightning here is very strong, not something to take lightly. I've seen trees split in 2 instantly and other crazy things living here over 30 years
