    AutoZone clearance SKUs

If I had just one or two cars or if a vehicle was still in its warranty period I would agree with you. Last year between all of the vehicles, tractors and other equipment (everything out of warranty) I used at least 120 quarts of oil. So for me it adds up quick.

What is your best "oil salad"

Between cars, tractors, trucks, mowers, generators, boats etc after a period of time I end up with a bunch a partial jugs and quarts of oils of various viscosities. I used to have a 2000 Lexus LX470 that one of my daughters drove and progressively smashed, and I would use this vehicle as the...

Moving from 0W-20 to 5W-30 in late model Toyotas

I have a 2013 LX570 that now has 239K miles on it owned since new. Probably 75% of the miles have been on synthetic 0w20 of various brands (with occasional 5w30, 0w30, 0w40 syth if I find a good deal), and I think most major brand synthetic 0W20s are great oils and hard to beat and I still like...

    Going conventional

My 8.1 ran better with spark plugs with a .045 gap instead of the OEM .060 gap. There is some online scuttle about this on various forums as well. I changed plugs every 25-30K miles. Also this engine burns up plug wires fast and I always traveled with a few spare, especially after installing...

    Going conventional

Oofda! I am in Michigan. I ran 15w40 all winter had no issues but it only occasionally gets below 0F here. I would try a 5w40 HDEO up there maybe rotella T6 or similar. I have a lot of family from the Fairbault area.

    Going conventional

I owned a 2001 GMC dually with the 8.1 for 4 years. I bought it with 55000 miles on the clock. One manifold was bad replaced that and went through 2 more sets before finally putting headers on it. It would use 1.5 quarts or so of 5w30 every 3K miles. Like others say I think these motors like at...

What oil should I run in my 2011 LX570 - Switching from 0w20-5w30

I have a 2013 LX570 with 239K miles owned since new. I do 7-10K OCI and 85% has been 0w20 synthetic of one brand or another. It will use maybe a half quart over 7K miles now. I have a lot of diesel equipment and the last few summers have run 15w40 with no issues or consumption including a fair...

Is medical school worth the debt in the long run ?

I think one of the most popular ways I see young docs coping with debt is through Uncle Sam. Thats probably what I would do if I were in their shoes.

Is medical school worth the debt in the long run ?

Well maybe. My daughters tuition is 22-25 $k/ year + $800/month rent + living expenses etc, usually costs me $40k/ yr. Private schools tuition alone often 50-60K. Many med schools now are 40-60K per year. It is not hard to rack up debt.
