    03 Duramax -10,530 on Shaeffers 15w40

2003 Duramax running Schaeffers 15w40 Durabilty Advantage and a Wix filter for 10,530 miles. Blackstone mistakenly labeled the sample as Delo. I added 1 qt of Delo at about 6500 miles in. As stated before by others, nothing special to see. Just another boring D-Max UOA. I'll change it in another...

    03 WRX 203k miles P.P. 5w40 Euro

The only work that was ever done since we got the car at about 190k miles was valve cover gaskets, spark plugs, and a few other miscellaneous gaskets. These results are the from the third oil change did on it. First two were running VR1 , didn't get a sample from the second oil change, and after...

    03 WRX 203k miles P.P. 5w40 Euro

Latest UOA from my sons WRX. The switch from VR1 10w30 to Pennzoil Platinum 5w40 Euro seems like it was a good move. The car is a daily driver and sees WOT alot.

    2015 BMW 328i Pennzoil Platinum 5w40 Euro

The D.I.C. on the car says 7,000 miles for OCI. I don't believe I am going to extend the OCI interval past 7,500 or 1 year. As far as the comment about magnesium, this oil never had a substantial amount in it to begin with. The BMW dealer I have dealt with said they were using BMW TPT 0w20 or...

    2015 BMW 328i Pennzoil Platinum 5w40 Euro

My Wifes 2015 BMW 328i Xdrive. I have been running Pennzoil Platinum 5w40 Euro since we purchased it used. This OCI was just over 7500 miles and about 13 months. Looks pretty good to me and according to Blackstone as well. I usually find PP Euro on sale at Advance Auto, 5qts and a filter for...

    03 Subaru WRX Valvoline VR1 10/30 196K miles

My teenage sons 2003 Subaru WRX that we bought with 191K miles now has 196K miles. Running Valvoline VR-1 10w30 oil and changed it at 3000 miles. Less than positive results on the UOA but I am not surprised honestly. It is living up to the name of "#Smurf_Turd".
