Hello @01_325ci , your engine is similar to mine and we are at the same region. Like you can see in my signature, i use HDEO 15W40, preferable SL/CI-4/E7. I do this because i don't like the quality of the normal 20W50 or PCMO 15W40, they fall in the lowest quality oils category around here...

The "1" and "2" look like bubbles. On the filter media, it is hard to say beacuse it's too wet.

Idling with a cold engine will only improve the fuel dilution. With only a short commute, your oil won't be hot enough to justify letting it idle when you reach your destination either. There is no other way around it, other than driving for longer distances, or forget about it and follow...

That filter media looks like it's holding a lot of carbon for that relative low milage. Not familiar with this engine but it looks like it gives the oil a hard time. Can you mesure how hot the filter gets at op. temperature and after shut down?

If you tend to keep the car you will have to change it anyway, so i would change as soon as possible. The more you wait, the worse it will get. Take your time and let the penetrating oil do his job overnight. After that much time i am sure new plugs will provide some benefits. Good luck!
