What hydraulic filter has 3/4+16 threads

I'd like to add one to a filter mount I ordered to put in the return line from the cooler. I'd like to find a good efficient hydraulic filter instead of an oil filter. I'm not real concerned with a bypass. Thanks

Transmission in 08 fusion throws shift solenoid code when wet or humid.

It first happened when I sprayed the engine at the car wash. It wouldn't shift. The wrench light comes on and all. When it drys I can clear the code and it runs fine. But even on high humid days it will throw the code. I can't figure out what connection or whatever is exposed. Ist thing the...

    Purolator classic 14612 5k

I used this for 5k on my 2013 Mazda 2. Oil was Pennzoil hm 5w30. Bought for $1.50 at Walmart couple years ago. I think it's built like the current red ones. Was apparently just before they completed the change. Date code f09g15e7. Louvers look good. No tears. I pushed like heck on the media...

Maybe the Japanese Care about efficiency after all.

I found these specs on the Tokyo Roki. Seems pretty efficient. I'm sure some of y'all have seen it but it's new to me. You can see specs on many oil filters here http://oilfilterdata.com/index.php?view=filter_info&model=2281251100 Some list micron ratings and some don't.

    Concerned about this filter

This cartridge filter came from rock Auto few years ago. It looks and feels very well constructed. My concern Is that there is no space between pleats in the the center. Dunno if oil will flow through well enough. It's supposed to be a champion filter from Firestone close out. Will it go into...

    The real culprit about 18k

This is the filter of my Mazda 1.5. (Taller one) I had mixed up filters with one I took off my wife's Yaris and posted it as a problem filter. Turns out this is the actual one. Still I like the streanght of the media and the excellent condition of the antidrain back valve. Like the size of the...

Here's my fram filter at least 18 thousand miles

All I had to cut this open was a pair of tin snips and a screwdriver http://tinypic.com?ref=2euoi90" target="_blank"> Things I like about this filter: Filter element itself seems strong like it would never really collapse or tear. metal in caps. Soft flexible anti drain back valve Things I...

    Synthetic oil overrated??

Car is supposed to use 0w20. It's only a synthetic as far as I know. But I didn't think it really mattered before. Anyway I've not used w20 anything in it for over 100k miles and have used conventional half the time. Always 5 or 10 w 30 or 5 w40. Didn't really think much about it until recently...

    I wonder why

Just wondering why some manufacturers like Ford and others put on different filters at the factory than you can buy at the store or dealerships. Eg. The motorcraft filters Ford suggest using are not what Ford puts on at the factory. At least not made the same. Is it just necessary for break in...
