Only year old Honda push mower won't pull start without starter fluid...

I have to tilt my 15 year old Honda on it's front wheels, to get enough gas into the carb to start. Yeah! I replaced the wax pellet. Didn't solve the issue.

Best toilet for my new house?

We've had high Toto's for a decade. Fantastic. My wife would clog it a couple times a year. I COULD NOT UNDERSTAND THIS! Found out she was only using the PEE FLUSH! No clogs since!

    Swollen Lithium Battery

Don't EVER recharge completely discharged LiIon batts. Recharge early, recharge often. LiIon is NOT harmed by frequent recharges... AS LONG AS you only charge up to 80% of max charge. Most chargers will have LED's indicating charge %. If you can measure voltage, charge to around 3.6 volts...

    Towing w/ 4-Cylinder Turbo

I've owned two turbo cars. Towing will have the turbo glowing bright red, and the fuel mixture will be much richer. MPG will be very low. I'd suspect the turbo bearings would coke up due to the constant high temps. Maybe you could get around that with extra oil cooling. I wouldn't try it...

HA! I just datalogged my CX-5 this morning. 40 minutes driving 65-75 mph. Engine hit 190ish at about 30 minutes, tranny hit 185ish around 40 minutes, and the diff got up to a balmy 105ish somewhere around 25-30 minutes. Here's HP and torque...

    Termites?

I was idly tapping on an interior wall last summer. Something started to tap back! It was a woodpecker. It must have thought I was insects in the wall.

honda gcv160 lawn mower engine starting from cold

Be careful. There are at least two versions of the wax pill. I replaced mine, it did not help at all. I need to push the mower against a boulder, then lift the rear of the mower, to flood the carb. Nothing else works. I've had the carb completely apart 3-4 times. The plastic fuel float...

2022 Mazda Miata Club RF Recaro

Massively jealous! I'm running Pennzoil Ultra Platinum 5w-30 in my CX-5. I run Mazda filters. Change every 3,000 miles (I do all short trips). Check out the Mazda forum at Mazdas247.com.

    Honda EU7000IS

There's a couple youtubes on honda/yamaha showing extended lifetimes (IIRC over 10,000 hours with no problems). Keep the exhaust/spark arrestor clean, change oil a lot, check compression yearly, check valve clearance, new filter/clean filter a lot. I opened up the air vents on my two Yammies...

    Furnace keeps running almost non-stop?

That's 1% in a greatroom, after maybe an hour of baking. House is somewhat leaky. It's 30+ years old. -Your- CO meters are what type? Conventional? If so, they WON'T peep until very high levels for extended periods of time. That's my point. The 'regs' are... loose. Young and old are...
