Would anyone like to Educate me on tractor hydraulic oils? Such as AW32. what does the number letters mean and all the other oil specs. Not familiar in any of these.

If you look at my post I got c&p of 20 year old purolators I been running. I think as long there stored well they should be fine.

Was walking around walmart and ran into this. I really like the whole can is textured, and similar to ford blue. Maybe a bit darker. Notice one of the holes are bigger. Not sure why.

Lol, I got the sample straight from the oil drain. I do wonder if done coolant got in through the oil return line since they are close together.

I most certainly have. The goose neck broke one time and I drove it about a mile. However the guage never moved. I'm sure it was running hot. That was last year.

Yeah I just wonder where it all came from. These engines are kinda known for coming issues. I did find it a mile with a busted gooseneck once. Have amounts of fuel is concerning to. It does use more fuel than it used to. Use to average 34 now only 28

So this is the oil after a new turbo was installed. Shows some sodium in it. Hope my head gasket isn't leaking. Oil I replaced it with is Amsoil Signature 5w30 .

I'm using the Castrol GTX Classic in my 75 LTD. Seems to like it. I just wish they made it in a 10w30/40. I don't think walmart carries it anymore but Amazon does.
