Thanks for your feedback. I decided to make the switch from Brad Penn which has ZDDP but it's not approved for E85. Some people go with other oils that have higher ZDDP as well such as RL and RP. The nice thing about Zrod that it has the rust and corrosion inhibitors than other amsoil products...

I have a 2.2L and FBO. I had an aftermarket but it's currently on stock 9 turbo. FP recommended to use oil with high zinc content year ago and I have been doing that since.

I don't see any. I would like to think that it's prob the type of the engine and poor filtration of OEM oil filter

I rarely drive the car....less than 1.5k miles a year. I used to use Brad Penn but their price has gone up substantially and BP is not approved for flex fuel.

Ran the 1st 2k miles on 93 and the last 700 miles on E85. About half of the make up oil was on 93 and the remaining on E85.

Use a coolant vacuum purge and refill tool kit. You can either go to a shop that has this kit or buy this kit. It does require a strong compressor. I used this when spill free funnel cannot fix my cooling issue. My car wasn't over heating but no pressure on upper radiator hose.

Great to know! I wanted to try it after I finished with the gumout HM mileage treatment which did a fantastic job IMO.

Thanks for the feedback. The initial condition was all four piston were fully covered with the deposits. You just have to take my word for it :) I can't really pinpoint the culprit. The car was merely driven and had many short trips. Strong fuel smell l in oil and plugs. That went away after I...

Took a quick peek on piston #2. It had about 50-55% deposits yesterday.

The pic from the previous pic was taken yesterday from piston #4. This morning I drove the car and did a lot of WOT and the pic below is from the same piston (#4)

This is the latest oil analysis with Brad Penn. I actually used 3.5 qt 10W-40 and 1 qt of 20W-50. The car has 2.2L. I did 2 auto cross events and about 6 hours street tuning during this interval. The rest is mainly normal driving and one trip SF-LA. It was on E85 for approximately 500 miles and...

FYI, I add 4oz of LC20 when I do oil change and 1oz per 1,000 miles.
