    2006 6.0 PSD oil recommendation

Sounds like any oil of the rated viscosity and certification would do just the same. I'd use it. t6, t4 is not SN rated like most diesel oils.

Worst 3 synthetic oils based on testing

This was the worst "performance test" I've ever seen. Adding up VOA analysis of PPM and correlating that to wear is ridiculous. A $20 test that glances at an oil cannot reverse engineer the formulation. Not to mention that concentrations of additives can vary between batches of the same product...

SN plus gasoline engine oil performance?

No reason not to use at all. Be a rebel and use Motor oil designed for Euro vehicles in your domestic.

Why Less Love For Mobil 1 ?

    Castrol Synthetics?

Upon looking at the PDS for Castrol synthetics, their oils seem to be worse or equal to conventional motor oils. Very high MRV numbers, and relatively low VI. Compare it to PUP or QSUD, VI is in the 170s and very low MRV ~4000 (cP). Of course you have to realize that -35c is reaching the pour...
