Idk. I use RL SL-1 every OCI. And use it with a half tank I like shell gas. I don’t use Costco, when I did, MPG always seemed lower. I also believe what add packs brands use, also change the burn characteristics of the burn. IMHO. No data to back it up, just an opinion.

On my J37. I pull it out every 3k OCI and clean it with carb cleaner and reinstall. Did the same in my k24, also clean the MAF with MAF cleaner. Keeps them working good and a clean MAF keeps it running good

Amsoil is a waste of time. Oil and filters are inexpensive. Long OCI is destructive to engines especially a Subaru or any GDI engine
